IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (TITS) is an academic journal published by IEEE. (ISSN 1524-9050, impact factor 8.4, CCF B).

Scope The IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems covers fundamental and applied research on all scientific and technical aspects of modern transportation systems, including but not limited to sensing, communications, controls, planning, design, and implementation of intelligent transportation systems. It covers theory, methodologies, modeling and simulation, experimentation, and evaluations of transportation systems that include multi-modal transportation, surface transportation traffic, coordinated multiple vehicles, infrastructure, and other road users (pedestrians, bicyclists, etc.) and their interactions. The Transactions also serve as a forum for the design, analysis, and control of information technology as it is applied to transportation systems. Read more on IEEE Xplore. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following applications and methodologies: Applications Road transportation Rail transportation Underground networks Public transportation Maritime transportation Air transportation Pedestrian flows and crowds Micro-mobility and sharing mobility Traffic networks Multimodal transportation networks Freight transportation and logistics Ports and terminals Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Autonomous driving Electric vehicles and electric mobility Vehicular Ad hoc Networks Internet of Things Smart cities Methodologies Modelling and simulation Optimization and control System state estimation Transportation demand modelling and estimation Computer vision Image processing Data-based approaches (learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning) Information Technology Artificial Intelligence Formal methods Data analytics and data science Multi-agent systems Cloud computing Human factors Communications Sensor technology Energy management methods Methods for safety Methods for security and privacy Transportation planning and design
