Call For Papers

IE 2022 (Interactive Entertainment) is a ICORE C conference held in Online on 2022-02-14. The paper submission deadline is 2021-11-19. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2021-12-19.

It has been a very unique two years for everyone under COVID-19. But one thing that has remained consistent - the world's love of games, virtual/augmented reality, interactive film and broadcasting, eSports, and the expansive communities and cultures surrounding all forms of digital interactive entertainment. Please join us for this year's online event. Reflect on the year that has been, discuss the future of technology, and celebrate the emerging trends in global remote engagement in entertainment, education, health, politics, and so much more. Interactive Entertainment is Australasia's longest running games and digital entertainment conference. IE2022 will be held as satellite conference of the Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW), organised by the Computing Research and Education Association of Australasia (CORE). This year, all of ACSW will be run online. Topics Interactive Entertainment has a long history of being a diverse conference that bring together a broad audience of researchers and academics. The conference encourages and pursues deep collaboration and the strength of past events has always been the depth of conversation between people from diverse disciplines. We encourage contributions from fields as diverse as computer science, social science, design, communication, media studies, music, engineering, health and mathematics. Anyone interested in the myriad of technologies and approaches that make up interactive entertainment are encouraged to come along and share your discipline's perspective on interactive entertainment.
