The 18th International Conference on Digital Image Processing (ICDIP 2026) will be held in Xiamen, China during April 24-26, 2026. It is sponsored by Xiamen University, China; organized by School of Informatics Xiamen University (National Characterisitc Demonstration Software School), China.

As a crucial component of artificial intelligence and computer vision, digital image processing plays a pivotal role across diverse fields. With the proliferation of image acquisition devices and advancements in algorithmic performance, the field has found widespread applications in areas such as medical imaging, autonomous driving, remote sensing, surveillance and security, and cultural heritage preservation, making it a prominent focus of both academic research and industrial practice. Since its inception in 2009, the ICDIP conference has been dedicated to advancing research exchange and technological applications in this domain, achieving notable success.

Over the past 17 editions, ICDIP has been hosted in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Gifu University (Japan), East China Normal University (China), Sun Yat-sen University (China), Hainan University (China) and University Sains Malaysia (Malaysia). The conference has organized nearly 200 technical sessions covering international hotspots, including image enhancement and restoration, feature analysis and extraction, image denoising, infrared imaging, and digital watermarking. It has attracted over a thousand participants from more than 60 countries and regions, including the UK, the US, Japan, China, New Zealand, South Korea, and Singapore. With a robust academic support network, ICDIP has featured high-level keynote speeches by renowned scholars from around the world.

Building on past successes, ICDIP 2026 will continue its mission of "promoting academic exchange and advancing scientific development" by providing a high-level platform for international academic collaboration. This edition will not only focus on theoretical research and technological breakthroughs in digital image processing but also address emerging challenges and opportunities in practical applications, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

The previous proceedings have been published by the prestigious publisher IEEE or SPIE, and successfully indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus and CPCI (Web of Science)., ensuring significant international academic influence for participants' research contributions.
