Smart Construction is an academic journal published by ELSP. (ISSN 2960-2025).

Smart Construction is a peer-reviewed open access journal focused on publishing original works, communications, reviews, perspectives, reports, and commentaries in all areas of intelligent construction, operation, and maintenance in both fundamental research and engineering applications. As the biggest global industry sector, the construction industry has become digitally lagging compared to other industry sectors. Both academics and practitioners have recognized the demand for the digital transformation of the construction industry. Hence, smart construction is crucial to support the digital transformation of the construction industry. How to use emerging information technologies and concepts to enable smart construction is an important question to ensure the safety and efficiency of the construction industry. Therefore, the overall goal of this journal is to gather original contributions and review articles focusing on smart construction aspects. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following: Smart Planning and Design Smart Construction Smart Maintenance Smart Equipment and Robotics Smart Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Civil Infrastructure Systems Digital Twin System Resilience Green Construction and Maintenance Urban Renewal Advanced Sensing Systems Smart City
