Call For Papers

ITSC 2027 (International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems) is a QUALIS B1 conference held in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 2027-09-21. The paper submission deadline is 2027-03-01. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2027-05-01.

The IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC) is the flagship annual gathering of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) and one of the principal international forums devoted to the future of transportation. The conference connects academic researchers, practicing engineers, industry innovators, public-sector professionals, and students working to make mobility safer, smarter, more efficient, and more accessible. Its technical scope extends from fundamental theory and computational methods to data-driven modeling, high-fidelity simulation, experimental validation, real-world deployment, and lessons drawn from operational transportation systems. The ITSC 2027 anniversary program will promote rigorous technical exchange while creating meaningful opportunities for interaction across disciplines and sectors. Participants will engage with plenary presentations, oral and poster sessions, industry-focused panels, exhibitions, and demonstrations of emerging technologies. A dedicated preconference day will offer workshops and tutorials, while networking and social events will connect members of the international ITS community throughout the meeting. Papers accepted for presentation will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, provided they satisfy IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. The 30th IEEE ITSC will be hosted in Boston, Massachusetts, returning to the city where the inaugural ITSC was held in 1997. One of America’s most historic and intellectually vibrant cities, Boston is home to an extraordinary concentration of universities, research institutions, technology companies, and public agencies advancing mobility, artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and urban infrastructure. Its distinctive combination of historical significance and technological innovation provides an especially meaningful setting in which to celebrate 30 years of ITSC and help shape the future of intelligent transportation systems. As part of your visit, explore the Freedom Trail, Boston Harbor, Back Bay, the Charles River, and nearby Cambridge. Discover Boston’s celebrated museums, historic neighborhoods, distinctive architecture, renowned universities, and exceptional culinary scene. You may also extend your journey to Cape Cod or other destinations along the New England coast. Boston’s history, innovation, waterfront setting, and early-autumn character will make your ITSC 2027 experience truly memorable. All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings at IEEE Xplore.
