Call For Papers

XRHCIAI 2026 (International Symposium on Extended Reality, Human-Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence) is an academic conference held in Hefei, China on 2026-01-23. The paper submission deadline is 2025-12-31.

In recent years, XR devices have achieved continuous breakthroughs in display quality, tracking accuracy, and computing power, driving their evolution from niche tools to lightweight, mass-market consumer electronics. At the same time, advances in artificial intelligence—particularly in generative AI and computer vision—are providing a powerful "intelligent core" for building and interacting with virtual worlds. As the bridge between humans and the digital realm, human-computer interaction is also expanding beyond traditional keyboards, mice, and touchscreens to more intuitive modalities such as gesture control, voice commands, eye tracking, and even brain-computer interfaces. XRHCIAI 2026 will be held in Hefei, China, from January 23 to 25, 2026. As a workshop of the 6th International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE 2026), it aims to bring together global researchers, engineers, and experts in relevant fields. The workshop is dedicated to providing a high-level platform for sharing scientific advances, exchanging cutting-edge technologies, identifying emerging academic trends, and broadening research perspectives. The topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to: Extended Reality Augmented Reality (AR) Virtual Reality (VR) Mixed Reality (MR) Immersive Experience Generative XR NeRF-powered XR Spatial Language Model Multimodal Semantic Anchoring Instant Neural Graphics Primitives Neural Holography Affective Computing XR Contactless Haptic Interaction Collaborative Agent Orchestration VR and Intelligent Systems Human-Computer Interaction Human-Machine Collaboration Human-AI Collaboration Multimodal Interaction Affective Interaction Action Recognition Systems Intelligent Human-Machine System Human-in-the-loop Reinforcement Learning Multimodal Intent Prediction Guardian Agent Human Digital Twin Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Ubiquitous and Context-Aware Computing Explainable AI (XAI) Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Neural Networks Natural Language Processing Computer Vision and Intelligent Perception Generative Artificial Intelligence Sustainable Computing and Green XR Hardware Natural Language Processing and Speech Interaction Embodied Intelligence and Robot Interaction AIGC-3D / AIGC-4D Extended Robotic Reality Cognitive Computing and Interaction Swarm Intelligence and Multi-Agent Interaction Privacy and Security for XR and AI Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs)
