We are pleased to announce the 15th Workshop on Virtual Reality Interaction and Physical Simulation, VRIPHYS 2019. The one day workshop will take place on May 5th in Genova, Italy. It is organized in cooperation with Eurographics. Submission deadline: March 1, 2019 VRIPHYS is one of the well-established international conferences in the field of computer animation and virtual reality. The workshop provides an opportunity for researchers in virtual reality and computer animation to present and discuss their latest results and to share ideas for potential directions of future research. The workshop features presentation of peer reviewed papers, as well as a plenary keynote speakers and work-in-progress and poster presentations. Topics of interest Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and application papers addressing all areas of VRIPHYS. Topics include, but are not limited to: physics-based animation virtual and augmented reality motion planning machine learning for animation perception autonomous characters crowd behavior simulating natural phenomena mathematical foundations of animation haptics sound interfaces collision detection contact handling robotics simulation
