AfricaCrypt 2020 (International Conference on the Theory and Applications of Security and Cryptography) is an academic conference held in Cairo, Egypt on 2020-07-20. The paper submission deadline is 2020-02-16. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2020-04-15.

Africacrypt is an Annual International Conference on the Theory and Application of Cryptology. Africacrypt 2020 is organized by Zewail City of Science and Technology in Egypt, in cooperation with the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR). The aim of Africacrypt 2020 is to provide an international forum for practitioners and researchers from industry, academia and government from all over the world for a wide ranging discussion of all forms of cryptography and its applications. The program committee is seeking original research papers pertaining to all aspects of cryptography as well as tutorials. Submissions may present theory, techniques, applications and practical experience on topics including, but not limited to: • Secret-key cryptography (block ciphers, stream ciphers, hash functions) • Cryptanalysis • Security proofs • Public-key cryptography (identification protocols, digital signatures, encryption) • Cryptographic protocols • Design of cryptographic schemes • Anonymity (electronic commerce and payment, electronic voting) • Information theory • Foundations and complexity theory • Multi-party computation • Post quantum cryptography • Elliptic curves, Lattices, Code-based cryptography • Cryptography for Blockchain • Efficient implementations.
