Sensing and Bio-Sensing Research is an open access journal devoted to research, design development and application of all bio-sensing and sensing technologies. The editors will accept research papers, reviews, field trials and validation studies of obvious relevance, which describe important new concepts, underpin understanding of the areas of interest or provide important insights into the practical application, manufacture and commercialisation of bio-sensing and sensing technologies.

Special issue information:

In this special issue, we highlight the new technologies presented at the 8th International Conference on Bio-Sensing Technology, a pivotal event that gathered experts to explore innovations in biomarkers, binding technologies, and new material applications. Presentations highlighted the need for advanced detection methods, underscored by the COVID-19 pandemic, where this collection of papers showcase the multidisciplinary approaches needed in bio-sensing, covering healthcare, environmental monitoring, and more. These articles reflect he conference's rich and diverse presentations, giving insights into the future of bio-sensing technology, which are making a significant contribution to the development and application of new technology in the field.

The Special Issue accepts research on technologies presented at the 8th International Conference on Bio-Sensing Technology from any of the 5 conferences themes.
