Special issue information:

Vision-based intelligent evaluation technology, as an interdisciplinary field integrating artificial intelligence and computer vision, deeply converges core algorithms such as visual quality assessment, image enhancement, abnormal behavior detection and multi-target recognition, thus to establish a comprehensive analysis system covering the entire process from data collection and feature extraction to intelligent decision-making. Against the backdrop of the in-depth promotion of digital transformation, many application fields, such as industrial internet, medical imaging and educational big data, are imposing increasingly stringent requirements on the real-time nature and accuracy of data evaluation. Traditional manual evaluation methods struggle to meet these requirements, while intelligent evaluation technology leverages the advantages of automation, precision and real-time capabilities to efficiently process complex data and provide scientific support for decision-making. Taking the generative AI for example, intelligent evaluation technology can efficiently conduct a comprehensive quality analysis of generated content, including visual authenticity verification, artistic quality assessment and multimodal alignment detection.Taking industrial production for example, intelligent evaluation technology can accurately perform a comprehensive assessment of objects, such as size measurement, shape recognition, defect detection, and motion trajectory analysis. This special issue calls for novel and high-quality papers that introduce reliable solutions and technologies for the above-mentioned problems.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Intelligent visual evaluation system for diverse application scenarios, such as visual quality assessment,
image enhancement, and object recognition;
Lightweight evaluation technologies driven by intelligent perception, with a focus on breakthroughs in technologies such as adaptation to resource-constrained scenarios and few-shot learning paradigms;
Embodied intelligence and multimodal evaluation framework, such as interactive scenario enhancement, cross-modal fusion modeling, and vision-action collaborative evaluation system for embodied intelligence;
Practical applications of industrial intelligent evaluation, with a focus on breakthroughs in environmental perception technologies for different fields such as sewage water quality monitoring and air pollution monitoring.
