Call for Papers (IEEE Conference #: 55465) Brief History From its inception in 2006, the International Conference on Computer Science and Education (ICCSE) has been held in Xiamen, Wuhan, Kaifeng, Nanning, Hefei, Singapore, Melbourne, Sri Lanka, Vancouver, Cambridge, Nagoya, Houston, Toronto, Delft, and Lancaster for 16 years, and has become an important grand gathering for computer education research in colleges and universities both at home and abroad. Many internationally renowned experts in the fields of Computer Science, Educational Technology, Science and Engineering including IEEE Fellows and Academicians have participated in these events and have given excellent keynote speeches. Experts, scholars, scientists, technologists, engineers, and other professionals from well-known and leading institutions of higher learning, research institutes and enterprises have published papers and made presentations. Many papers of high quality have been published in prestigious journals through recommendation. ICCSE has successfully built a platform for exchange among industries, universities and research institutes. About ICCSE 2022 The 17th International Conference on Computer Science & Education (ICCSE 2022) will be held in NingboTech University, China, during August 18-21, 2022. ICCSE 2022 is organized by the Computer Education Research Association of Chinese Universities (CERACU), hosted by NingboTech University with the technical sponsorship of IEEE Education Society. ICCSE 2022 will be held in NingboTech University, which is located in Ningbo, Southeast China’s Zhejiang Province. Established in June 2001 and situated in Ningbo, a city of culture and a gateway to the world, NingboTech University is a full-time public undergraduate-level university approved by the Ministry of Education. Adhering to the philosophy of "Education for students’ development", NingboTech is committed to producing "high-quality and creative talents with all-round development, humanistic spirits and scientific literacy" by inheriting Zhejiang University’s motto of “Seeking Truth, Pursuing Innovation” and the academic essence typical of eastern Zhejiang Province. Located in Ningbo Higher Education Park, NingboTech covers an area of around 80 hectares with a floor area of about 39.04 hectares. It boasts advanced teaching and experimental facilities including 59 high-standard laboratories, and a collection of more than 1.48 million books. Among the faculty members, three are academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and 184 have been selected into talent projects at or above the municipal level including the State Council Special Allowances recipients. It has 11 schools including the School of International Studies, the School of Information Science and Engineering, the School of Computing and Data Engineering, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture and the School of Design. More than 10,000 students are currently pursuing their studies here in NingboTech. You are most welcome to NingboTech and your advice is appreciated. The proceedings of ICCSE will be published by IEEE, and be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library with ISBN (TBD). Selected papers from the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant, high-quality journals. The conference will consist of technical presentations including refereed papers, special workshops about current emerging topics and active research areas, invited sessions, poster sessions, panel discussions, and a special journal contributor session. In the special journal contributor session, editors of some recommended EI-indexed international journals will interact with potential contributors (conference paper authors) and discuss procedures and tips for journal paper submission. All submissions must be written in English. The submitted manuscripts should contain sufficient details including key concepts and novel features of the work, and must be formatted according to IEEE’s Two-Column Format for Conference Proceedings and not exceed 6 pages including all text, references, appendices, tables, and figures. Templates are available at the conference website https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. The submissions should be made in the PDF format, which is IEEE PDF eXpress compliant.
