Call For Papers
IHM '26 offers a special focus on HCI for society to address a multidisciplinary theme, while remaining open to other themes addressed by the IHM conference, including:

    Theoretical foundations of human-machine interaction;
    Methods and processes for developing interactive systems;
    Speculative and critical approaches to technology;
    Study of the uses of interactive technologies;
    Design and evaluation of user experience (UX);
    Design and evaluation of interactive systems;
    Interactive data visualization;
    Multimodal interaction and interaction modalities;
    Tools for engineering, designing, and implementing HMI;
    Applications, case studies, and design focused on communities of practice;
    Learning and education through and by technology.
    Explainable user interfaces (XUI)

We encourage contributions in computer science, but also in design, psychology, ergonomics, sociology of usage, education sciences, information and communication sciences, critical studies of science and technology, etc., in various fields of application (health, education, culture, socialization, sustainable development, etc.).

Authors who may be hesitant to submit to IHM rather than to an international conference due to concerns about self-plagiarism should note that IHM is authorized to republish in English an article already published in French, in accordance with ACM SIGCHI policy.
