Special sessions A Special Session must include a minimum of five papers that address a well-defined topic. Each session may have up to three co-organizers, preferably affiliated with different institutions. Each (co-)organizer may appear as a (co-)author on no more than one paper within their session. Special Session proposals should clearly explain the session’s motivation and relevance, and must include a preliminary list of six proposed contributions, specifying the manuscript titles and prospective authors. All submissions to Special Sessions will undergo the same peer-review process as regular manuscripts. If fewer than five papers are ultimately accepted for a Special Session, those papers will be incorporated into the regular program. Special session proposals are welcome and can be submitted to the Special Sessions Chair. Several benefits are offered to the special session organizers. Please direct your queries and special sessions proposals via email to: Cristina.Muresan@aut.utcluj.ro. Current Special sessions: SS1 Advances in Intelligent and Cyber-Enabled Systems for Industrial and Healthcare Transformation: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities Organized by Miruna-Elena Iliuță, Ioana-Corina Bogdan, and Roxana Rusu-Both. SS2 Technology for Education Organized by Iulia Stefan and Lia Pop. SS3 Intelligent Systems and Advanced Control Strategies in Biomedical Engineering Organized by Marcian MIHAI, Alexandru-George BERCIU, and Erhan YUMUK. SS4 AI Based Robotics and Control Organized by Florin Stoican, András Majdik, Dan Selişteanu, Doina Pîslă, Lucian Bușoniu, and Levente Tamás. SS5 Bridging Research and Industry in Hydrogen Technologies Organized by Petru Dobra and Dorin Petreuș. SS6 Intelligent Signals and Resilient Systems Organized by Inès Chihi, Ghada Bouattour, and MOUNA BERQUEDICH. Student forum A dedicated platform for students to present their research, ideas, and prototypes related to the above topics. This session is addressed to undergraduate and master students.
