IGARSS 2027 (International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium) is a ICORE C conference held in Reykjavík, Iceland on 2027-07-11. The paper submission deadline is 2027-01-11. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2027-03-12.

IGARSS 2027 invites submissions for full papers, abstracts, and recently published articles. Accepted full papers will be published in IEEE Xplore, while others will be presented at the conference. The 47th IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS 2027) will be held July 11-16, 2027, in Reykjavik, Iceland. The theme of IGARSS 2027 is Global Vision for a Changing Planet, and the conference focuses on the evolving technical, scientific, and policy landscape of Earth observations, remote sensing, and geoscience, promoting global collaboration and sustainable solutions for monitoring the environment. Submission Types IGARSS 2027 accepts three types of submissions: Full Papers (4 pages) - Required for inclusion in IEEE Xplore and eligible for the Student Paper Competition. Abstracts (400-600 words) - Not published in IEEE Xplore but considered for oral or poster sessions. Recently Published Articles - Papers published in a Q1-ranked journal after January 1, 2026. All accepted submissions will be organized into oral or interactive poster sessions. Submission Guidelines and Deadlines The submission portal opens on 10 November 2026. The final submission deadline is 10 January 2027. Only accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in IEEE Xplore, ensuring high visibility and impact. Authors are encouraged to align their submissions with the GRSS Fields of Interest, covering theory, concepts, and techniques of remote sensing of the Earth, oceans, atmosphere, and space, as well as data processing, interpretation, and dissemination. Additional Information Detailed submission instructions, templates, and the Paper Kit will be. available on the IGARSS 2027 submission portal The conference provides a platform for international cooperation, networking, and showcasing advances in remote sensing technologies. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original, innovative, and reproducible research that advances the state of the art in geoscience and remote sensing.
