ICDS'' 2024 (International Conference on Design Science) is an academic conference held in Shanghai, China on 2024-08-02. The paper submission deadline is 2024-04-21. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2024-06-28.

The International Conference on Design Science (ICDS) is delighted to declare its upcoming event, hosted by the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with SJTU-GEC Academy Center for Innovative Design for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Shanghai Society for Modern Design Theory and Methodology Research and Xie Youbai Design Science Research Foundation as co-sponsors. Following the achievements of the initial conference in 2023, ICDS 2024 persists in its pursuit of novel advancements and breakthroughs in design science, especially amid the rise of transformative technologies like big data, digital twin, and artificial intelligence. ICDS 2024 emphasizes the significance of models and methodologies in design, especially in the context of new technologies and applications. Following the accomplishments of the first edition, which concluded successfully in 2023, the conference provides an invaluable platform for researchers, scientists, and industry practitioners to present their latest findings, engage in discussions about innovative solutions, and identify common interests for potential collaborations. The conference will cover a range of topics, including but not limited to: Design Science Agile Design Fuzzy Design Data-driven Design Digital twin-enhanced Design Design Education Engineering Design Bio-inspired Design Participation in ICDS 2024 is welcomed, where diverse perspectives and expertise converge to shape the future of design science. Contributions to the conference will undoubtedly enrich the event, fostering an environment conducive to knowledge exchange and collaborative exploration.
