The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the landscape of computing research, creating unprecedented opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. In this backdrop, the 5th International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing (ICARC 2025) organized by the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka will take place on the 19th and 20th of February 2025 in Hybrid mode under the theme “Converging Horizons: Uniting Disciplines in Computing Research through AI Innovation”.

The conference features keynote and plenary speeches from eminent scholars and industry experts, oral presentations, pre-conference workshops and tutorials, and public discussions to provide ample opportunities for discussion and knowledge dissemination in a wide range of computing disciplines.

We are glad to announce that ICARC 2025 will be technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Global, IEEE Sri Lanka Section, IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter, IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Sri Lanka Chapter, IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Sri Lanka Chapter, and IEEE Communications Society Sri Lanka Chapter, with the accepted and presented papers being published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
