NICS 2020 (NAFOSTED Conference on Information and Computer Science) is an academic conference held in Hochiminh, Vietnam on 2020-11-26. The paper submission deadline is 2020-08-03. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2020-09-28.
Recent rapid advancements in information and computer science present both challenges and opportunities for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. New methods, techniques, and tools proposed from areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining help address challenging and complex problems more accurately and efficiently. On the other hand, challenges in handling and exploiting a huge amount of available data, in data security, and in realizing these advancements to serve societies, just to name a few, remain to be resolved. There are also needs for realizing these advancements in information and computer science to support the digital transformation efforts around the world.
NAFOSTED Conference on Information and Computer Science (NICS) is an international forum for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to present and discuss recent advancements and future directions in addressing challenging problems in the field of information and computer science. NICS is organized annually by the Vietnam’s National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED).
NICS 2020 is jointly sponsored by IEEE, NAFOSTED, and Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh city (VNU-HCMC). The conference will be hosted by the University of Science, VNU-HCMC on November 26-27, 2020 and in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
