Geospatial Technologies for Local and Regional Development

Researchers, developers, lecturers, students, and practitioners in all facets of Geo-Information Science and Technology and their applications, are cordially invited to the conference, to present ongoing research, showcase products, network with colleagues from Europe and the rest of the world, and find out about the latest developments in the field. The conference theme for AGILE 2019 is "Geospatial Technologies for Local and Regional Development", aiming to highlight the role of geospatial technologies, as well as the science behind those technologies, in promoting sustainable growth at the local and regional levels, and beyond.

In addition, contributors are encouraged to propose new themes, both for presentations and workshops, as AGILE seeks to ensure that new perspectives on research and education in geographic information science are fully represented at the conference to help shaping the future European research agenda in this field.
