Call For Papers

INCER 2019 (International Conference of Engineering Risk) is an academic conference held in Beirut, Lebanon on 2019-04-03. The paper submission deadline is 2018-12-15. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2019-01-28.

Objectives: The conference covers a series of important topics of present-day concerns with all aspects of risk detection, management and many practical applications in engineering hazards. The primary objective is concerned with Risk analysis, assessment and management of engineering hazards. A subsequent objective is dedicated to the early warning systems and their vulnerability factors. In particular, discussions will focus on temporal and spatial aspects of risks, disaster management as well as vulnerability assessment. To achieve this goal, health risks and case studies on natural disasters such as climate changes, earthquakes and floods will be considered.. Emphasizing the importance of the safety and security involved in ensuring hazard mitigation is another central objective. This conference provides the opportunity for the scientific body within their fields of expertise to communicate their experiences on risk evaluation and management Fields: The main fields are not limited to: Civil Mechanical Petroleum Chemical Electrical Computer Science Environmental Transport and storage systems Main Topics: Naturals : earthquake, landslide, forest fire, flood, tsunami, avalanche Transport and storage of hazardous materials Accidentals: well, platforms Chemical: pollution, explosion, Fire Civil infrastructures : bridges, structures, dams … Sustainable development : climate change, air and water pollution, waste treatment Data uncertainty and security Fault tolerant systems, diagnosis and prognosis
