Call For Papers

ICSN 2016 (International Conference on Software Networking) is an academic conference held in Jeju Island, Korea on 2016-05-23. The paper submission deadline is 2016-01-31. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2016-02-24.

Software defined networking(SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) technologies have received significant attention over the last few years. In contrast to traditional networks, SDN decouples the control and data planes through an open and standard interface to enhance programmability and flexibility of carrier grade net works. Conference Scope and Topics are the following (but are not limited to): Track 1. Advancement in SDN technology SDN and Virtualization architectures/ Advanced SDN services and validation/ Service chaining and orchestration/ New controller architectures/ Security and management on SDN/ Experimentation and deployments Track 2. SDN and NFV Network Function Virtualization and SDN/Advances NFV infrastructure/ NFV management and orchestration/ NFV Software architecture/ Reliability and availability/ Integration of SDN and NFV/ Experimentation and deployments Track 3. Interworking with legacy networks Carrier-grade SDN architectures/ Experimentation deployments Track 4. Application & management of SDN/NFV Management architeture for SDN/ NFV Submitted papers will subject to stringent peer review by at least three experts and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will be published in conference proceeding, which will be indexed in EI and Scopus. Furthermore, the selected papers will be published in the special issues of prestigious international journals after further revision.
