IDA 2026 (International Symposium on Intelligent Data Analysis) is a ICORE B conference held in Leiden, the Netherlands on 2026-04-22. The paper submission deadline is 2025-11-21. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2026-01-23.

WHY SUBMIT TO IDA? Why should you submit to (and participate in) the 24th International Symposium on Intelligent Data Analysis? IDA accepts all inspiring papers for both presentation and publication. IDA promotes ideas over performance, and awards a frontier prize for the most visionary contribution IDA symposia are intentionally small-scale and single-track to create an open atmosphere that encourages discussion Furthermore, IDA’s programme includes: Exciting invited talks from research institutes from all over the world. A dedicated PhD Poster track, where PhD students can meet and exchange ideas. A mentoring program connecting PhD students with senior scientists who offer their experience to help boost PhD students’ research and academic careers. Ideas over performance IDA accepts all inspiring papers for both presentation and publication. IDA 2026 uses different acceptance criteria and reviewer guidelines than most conferences in the field. We solicit full papers, which will be peer-reviewed, following criteria that emphasize novelty and relevance over other factors. Furthermore, IDA stimulates ideas and validation founded in scientific principles, prioritising gaining new insights through intelligent data analysis over engineering complex systems. IDA’s small-scale, single-track format encourages exchange of ideas IDA’s meeting format is designed to foster interaction and discussion. Presentations are scheduled in a single track, gathering scientists from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience in a single room. IDA welcomes the participation of students still in their University education and senior scientists alike, because we believe the combination of fresh perspective and experience leads to exciting new insights and research ideas. To further encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, IDA’s schedule has plenty of time for questions and in-depth discussions sparked by the innovative ideas presented by participants.
