RSKT 2014 (International Conference on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technology) is an academic conference held in Shanghai, China on 2014-10-24. The paper submission deadline is 2014-05-31 (extended). Acceptance notifications are sent on 2014-06-20.

Aim and Scope The 9th International Conference on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technology (RSKT 2014) will be held from October 24 to October 26, 2014 in Tongji University, Shanghai, China. RSKT 2014 is the 9th conference in a series of international scientific conferences on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technology. The aim of RSKT is to present the innovative results, encourage academic and industrial interaction, and promote collaborative research in rough sets and knowledge technology worldwide. In keeping with the aims of the past conferences, RSKT 2014 will provide opportunity to explore synergies between rough sets and state-of-the-art knowledge technologies, in terms of both foundations and applications. All submitted papers will be reviewed on the basis of technical quality, relevance, significance, and clarity. Each paper should be 10-12 pages long in the Springer-Verlag LNCS style, including figures, tables and references. Springer-Verlag author instructions are available at: http://www.springer.com/lncs. Please submit your paper in PDF format via our electronic paper submission system. We strongly recommend the use of LaTeX style files for this year's conference. Publication All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series, which is published, in parallel to the printed books, in full-text electronic form via http://link.springer.com/.
