18th International Conference on Grid Computing (GridCom 2026) September 19 ~ 20, 2026, Copenhagen, Denmark https://gridcom2026.org/index Scope 18th International Conference on Grid Computing (GridCom 2026) brings together researchers, practitioners, and innovators at the forefront of largescale distributed systems and serviceoriented computing. As modern enterprises and scientific communities increasingly rely on complex, data intensive, and computationally demanding workflows, grid computing continues to play a pivotal role in enabling seamless access to distributed processing, networking, and storage resources. By integrating these heterogeneous capabilities into a cohesive, serviceoriented environment, grid computing empowers the execution of advanced distributed applications across e-Science, industry, and business ecosystems. Service oriented computing has become a foundational design paradigm for large scale business and scientific systems, and grid computing enhances this paradigm by orchestrating powerful, homogeneous distributed resources to optimize the performance of timeconsuming processes. The conference aims to foster deep technical exchange, inspire new directions, and support the continued evolution of scalable, efficient, and intelligent distributed systems. Topics of interest • AI driven distributed systems • Large scale AI/LLM training infrastructure • AI native systems optimization and RL based tuning • Confidential computing and trusted execution • Fault tolerance, resilience and self healing systems • Cloud–edge–grid continuum and hybrid compute • CXL memory disaggregation andcomposable infrastructure • Next generation grid architectures and fabrics • High performance and computational storage • Performance modeling, benchmarking and optimization • Resource management, scheduling and runtime systems • Distributed data management, provenance and FAIR systems • Scientific, biomedical, industrial and environmental applications • Digital twins, real time simulation and co simulation • Quantum and hybrid distributed computing • Middleware, programming models and service mesh architectures • Blockchain, distributed ledgers and decentralized coordination • Observability, telemetry and distributed tracing • Sustainable and carbon aware computing • Energy efficient AI training and green LLM infrastructure • Federated learning and cross domain distributed AI • Distributed governance, collaboration and societal implications Paper Submission Authors are invited to submit papers through the conference Submission System by July 25, 2026. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. The proceedings of the conference will be published by Computer Science Conference Proceedings in Computer Science & Information Technology (CS & IT) series (Confirmed).
