ACM Transactions on Applied Perception (TAP) is an academic journal published by ACM. (ISSN 1544-3558, impact factor 2.1, CCF B).

Aims and Scope ACM Transactions on Applied Perception (TAP) aims to strengthen the synergy between computer science and psychology/perception by publishing top quality papers that help to unify research in these fields. This journal is published on a quarterly basis. The journal publishes inter-disciplinary research of significant and lasting value in any topic area that spans both Computer Science and Perceptual Psychology. All papers must incorporate both perceptual and computer science components. Topics include, but are not limited to: Visual Perception: e.g., computer graphics, scientific/data/information visualization, digital imaging, computer vision, stereo and 3D display technology Auditory Perception: e.g., auditory display and interfaces, perceptual auditory coding, spatialized sound, speech synthesis and recognition Haptics: e.g., haptic rendering, haptic input and perception Sensorimotor Perception: e.g., vestibular interfaces, eye/head tracking input, gesture input, body movement input Multisensory Perception: e.g., sensory integration, multimodal rendering and interaction
