The 22nd IFIP International Conference on Wireless On-demand Network Systems and Services (WONS) provides a premier forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and present advances in wireless on-demand networking. WONS fosters in-depth discussions and close interaction within a collaborative and stimulating environment. Within this context, wireless on-demand networking has evolved from a niche Wi-Fi capability into a key enabler of modern technologies, including Bluetooth LE, LTE Direct, WLANs, and emerging 5G/6G systems. It is now central to diverse paradigms such as mesh and sensor networks, vehicular systems, cloud-edge infrastructures, and opportunistic and disruption-tolerant networks. The field raises important challenges, including managing heterogeneous technologies, ensuring reliable performance in dynamic environments, and supporting resource-constrained devices. Designing lightweight, adaptive mechanisms for self-organization and resilience remains a key research direction. We invite original, high-quality contributions on all aspects of wireless on-demand networks and systems, including protocol and network design, modeling and performance evaluation, energy efficiency, QoS mechanisms, practical implementations, applications, and the integration of multiple wireless technologies.
