論文募集

NETWORKS 2018 (International Telecommunications Network Strategy and Planning Symposium ) is an academic conference held in Cartagena, Spain on 2018-09-10. The paper submission deadline is 2018-03-16. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2018-06-01.

Networks 2018 is the 18th edition of a symposium that is held every two years and attracts participants from around the world. Network operators, software designers, system integrators, university and industry researchers, marketers, regulators and policy-makers convene to present their latest findings and share experiences in network strategy, planning, operations, management, control and design. The scope of Networks 2018 includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: Emerging Topics in Network Planning and Operations Software defined networking (SDN) Network function virtualization (NFV) Network slicing Cybersecurity: challenges and solutions OTT services and impact on service providers Vehicular and 5G networks Cloud Networking Network Data Analytics Smart cites Internet of Things Peer to peer networking New networking paradigms Economic Aspects of Network Planning and Operations CAPEX vs. OPEX tradeoffs Cost modeling and pricing Dynamic tariff optimization Infrastructure and spectrum sharing Virtual network operators Network neutrality Frequency management Traffic Measurements and Modeling Multiservice traffic measurement, analysis, characterization, modeling, and simulation Data collection and analysis Methods / tools for traffic measurements and prediction Network monitoring and anomaly detection Network Planning Support Processes Methods and Tools Business planning Multilayer planning process Planning of optical, access, NGN, LTE+, and 5G networks Network management support Hybrid planning methods and tools Migration planning and dismantling of legacy equipment Routing, Traffic Flows and Optimization Signaling and control in multimedia/multiservice systems OTT services and implications on traffic demand Application layer traffic optimization Intra-domain and inter-domain routing, traffic engineering and resilience Optimization wrt. technical and economic criteria Routing strategies to reduce power consumption Impact of cloud and grid services Network Design and Planning Methods Network topology design, optimization at different layers End-to-end service performance evaluation Quality of service (QoS), quality of resilience, quality of experience (QoE) and SLA Network interconnection & peering IoT networks, ad-hoc and sensor networks Network resilience: survivability, availability, dependability, protection, restoration Energy efficiency Content delivery and media services Authors are encouraged to submit via EDAS their work describing original, previously unpublished results. Paper length should not exceed 6 pages formatted according to the IEEE two-column conference template (minimum paper length is 3 pages). A maximum of two additional pages will be allowed at a fee of EUR 100 per extra page. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
