Welcome! The 45th Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC) will be held in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, from June 6–9, 2027, at the Crowne Plaza. Sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society, EIC 2027 will bring together engineers, researchers, students, academics, utilities, manufacturers, and industry professionals for technical exchange, networking, and collaboration. The conference will feature technical and poster sessions, short courses, and exhibitor displays. As an annual applied conference based in the Americas, EIC focuses on the practical application of electrical insulating systems, materials, and diagnostics, including liquid, solid, gaseous, and vacuum insulation, across a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. Topics of interest include rotating machines, variable-speed drives, transformers, cables, outdoor insulation, electric transportation, aerospace applications, switchgear, capacitors, and related areas.
