Call For Papers

Transducers 2027 (International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems) is an academic conference held in Stockholm, Sweden on 2027-06-20. The paper submission deadline is 2026-12-08. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2027-02-18.

Welcome to Stockholm, under the blue sky of midsummer Sweden! Every six years, when Transducers is held in Europe, it is organized jointly with EUROSENSORS. Together, these conferences form the world's premier event in microsensors, microactuators, MEMS/NEMS, and integrated micro- and nanosystems, attracting more than 1,000 attendees from academia, research institutions, government agencies, and industry to exchange the latest advances and discoveries in the field. On behalf of the entire organizing team and the co-sponsoring institutions, we are delighted to welcome you to Stockholm for this exceptional gathering of the global transducers and microsystems community. Over four and a half days, the conference will showcase major technological, scientific, and commercial breakthroughs in mechanical, optical, medical, chemical, and biological devices and systems enabled by micro- and nanotechnology. Stockholm, one of Europe's most innovative and sustainable capitals, provides an inspiring setting for scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking. Built across a stunning archipelago and renowned for its world-leading research environment, vibrant startup ecosystem, and commitment to technological innovation, Stockholm offers an ideal backdrop for discussing the future of sensors, actuators, and transducer technologies. The major areas of activity in the development of Sensors, Actuators, and Transducers solicited and expected at this conference include, but are not limited to: Packaging, Solid-State Materials, and Advanced Fabrication Technologies Nanoscale Materials, Devices, and Nanofabrication Composite Materials, Polymers, and Flexible Microsystems Microfluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip Platform Technologies Chemical and Environmental Sensors and Microsystems Biosensors, Biomicrosystems, and In Vitro Medical Applications Wearable, Implantable, and In Vivo Medical Microsystems Physical Sensors and Microsystems Energy Harvesting, Power MEMS, and Thermal Management RF MEMS, Resonators, Oscillators, and Acoustic Devices Optical, Photonic, and Atomic Transducers Actuators, Microrobotics, and Microsystems Emerging Technologies including AI-Enabled Microsystems, Quantum Devices, IoT, Advanced Computing, and Sustainable MEMS/NEMS Technologies The Welcome Reception at Stockholm City Hall and the Conference Dinner beneath the salvaged 400-year-old Vasa warship will provide participants with a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world in an informal and inspiring setting. The technical program will feature plenary presentations by internationally recognized leaders, parallel oral sessions, poster sessions, industry-focused activities, and an exhibition highlighting the latest products, services, and innovations from companies, startups, and scientific organizations. The program has been carefully designed to encourage interaction, collaboration, and networking throughout the conference. In addition to the technical program, attendees will have opportunities to experience Stockholm's unique blend of history, culture, innovation, and natural beauty. During the summer season, the city enjoys long daylight hours and pleasant temperatures, creating an inviting atmosphere for both professional exchange and social activities. We look forward to welcoming you to Stockholm in 2027 for an inspiring and memorable Transducers and EUROSENSORS conference.
