CAaiVDE 2026 (Computer Animation, AI-Driven Visualisation & Digital Effects) is a ICORE C conference held in London, UK on 2026-07-28. The paper submission deadline is 2026-04-30. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2026-06-01.

CAaiVDE-Computer Animation, AI-Driven Visualisation & Digital Effects explores the convergence of artificial intelligence, computer animation, and advanced visualisation technologies in shaping next-generation digital experiences. The symposium provides an international forum for researchers, artists, engineers, educators, and industry practitioners to present cutting-edge research and applied innovations at the intersection of: AI-assisted animation and generative motion Intelligent visual simulation systems Real-time rendering and immersive media Scientific, medical, and forensic visualisation Digital effects for entertainment, industry, and policy The field is undergoing rapid transformation through machine learning, neural rendering, generative models, real-time simulation, and human–AI collaboration. Animation is no longer solely keyframe- or physics-driven—it is increasingly data-driven, adaptive, and interactive. CAaiVDE aims to: Identify emerging research frontiers in AI-augmented animation and visual effects Bridge theory, creative practice, and industrial application Explore ethical, computational, and perceptual challenges in intelligent animation systems Foster collaboration between academia, creative industries, simulation engineering, and AI research The symposium welcomes original research papers, case studies, technical systems, artistic works, and work-in-progress contributions. Thematic Areas (Indicative, Not Exhaustive) AI-Driven Animation & Motion Intelligence Generative motion synthesis and diffusion-based animation AI-enhanced motion capture and performance reconstruction Learning-based character control and behavioral animation Neural facial animation and expressive synthesis Crowd simulation using reinforcement learning Neural Rendering & Intelligent Visual Effects Neural rendering and differentiable graphics AI-assisted lighting, shading, and texture synthesis Procedural and generative environments Physics-informed machine learning for simulation Real-time VFX pipelines and virtual production Real-Time Simulation & Immersive Systems Digital twins and interactive simulation environments Animation for VR/AR/XR and mixed reality Immersive training systems and serious games AI in virtual production and cinematic workflows Edge computing and cloud-based animation systems Scientific, Medical & Forensic Animation AI-assisted scientific visualisation Medical simulation and surgical training animation Forensic reconstruction and evidential visualisation Climate and environmental simulation visualisation Data-driven narrative animation for policy and education Human–AI Collaboration & Ethics Mixed-initiative animation systems Explainable AI in animation and visual effects Bias and realism in generative character systems Creative AI and authorship Responsible AI in digital media production Audio-Visual & Multimodal Effects AI-driven sound design and audiovisual synchronisation Multimodal generative media systems Haptic and sensory augmentation Cross-modal animation (vision–sound–gesture)
