BIBE 2015 (International Conference on Bioinformatics & Bioengineering) is a CORE C / QUALIS B1 conference held in Belgrade, Serbia on 2015-11-02. The paper submission deadline is 2015-08-30 (extended). Acceptance notifications are sent on 2015-09-15.

Aim & Scope The IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics & Bioengineering (BIBE) is the first scientific meeting in IEEE that promotes complementary disciplines that hold great promise for the advancement of research and development in complex medical and biological systems, agriculture, environment, public health, drug design, and so on. Research and development in these two areas are impacting the science and technology of fields such as medicine, food production, forensics, etc. by advancing fundamental concepts in molecular biology and in medicine, by helping us understand living organisms at multiple levels, by developing innovative implants and bio-prosthetics, and by improving tools and techniques for the detection, prevention and treatment of diseases. The BIBE series provides a common platform for the cross fertilization of ideas, and to help shape knowledge and scientific achievements by bridging these two very important and complementary disciplines into an interactive and attractive forum. Keeping this objective in mind, BIBE solicits original contributions in the following non-exclusive lists of areas: Topics (not limited to) BIOINFORMATICS Bio-molecular & Phylogenetic DBs, Query Languages, Bio-Ontology and Data Mining Identification and Classification of Genes Sequence Search and Alignment Protein Structure Prediction and Molecular Simulation Molecular Evolution and Phylogeny Functional Genomics, Proteomics ; Drug Discovery Gene Expression Analysis & Engineering Data Visualization Systems Biology Algorithms, Modelling and Simulation of Bio-Sets Biomarkers of Toxicity Bio-Imaging Signalling and Computation Neuroinformatics Other BIOENGINEERING Biological Systems and Models Engineering Models in Bio-Medicine Computer Assisted Intervention Systems Medical Robotics Nano-Medicine Nano-Mechanisms in Molecular Systems Nano-Bio-Computing Biomedical & Biological Sensors Cell Engineering Molecular and Cellular Systems Body's and Cell's Bio-signatures Tissue Engineering & Neuro-Engineering Biomedical Image Processing & Analysis Microarray Methods-Technologies Biomedical Data Engineering Biomaterials Bioengineering Applications Other Paper Submission The submissions should contain original, high quality, not submitted or published elsewhere work. Papers should be submitted electronically (through BIBE 2015 web site) in pdf format and should conform to IEEE specifications (single-spaced, double-column, 10-point font size, up to 6 pages). Paper Presentation Each accepted paper should be presented by one of the authors and accompanied by at least one full registration fee payment, to guarantee publication in the proceedings. All accepted papers will be included in proceedings of BIBE 2015 that will be published by the IEEE. Special issues Extended versions of the best papers of the conference will be invited for publication in special issues of IEEE and other International Journals (SCI Indexed).
