The 8th International Conference on Energy, Power and Environment (ICEPE-2026) at IIEST Shibpur covered a wide range of topics across several key technical tracks and special sessions related to electrical engineering and environmental challenges. We invite prospective authors to submit their original research papers covering the following topics, but not limited to: Track Details: Track-1: Modern Power Systems Sustainable energy technologies for power generation, transmission, distribution, energy conversion, and storage, as well as power quality, protection schemes and smart grid integration. Track-2: Control and Automation Control systems, optimization techniques, industrial control systems, mechatronics, robotics, and sensor networks. Track-3: Power Converter Topologies, Components, and Devices Advanced converter topologies, modulation techniques, control methods and their application in various fields including renewable energy systems, traction and biomedical applications, Power electronic devices, Gate drivers and integrated circuits, Magnetic materials and Component design. Track-4: Smart Grid and Microgrid Advanced converter topologies, modulation techniques, control methods and their application in various fields including renewable energy systems, traction and biomedical applications, Power electronic devices, Gate drivers and integrated circuits, Magnetic materials and Component design. Track-5: Electric Mobility and Transportation Electric vehicles (EVs) charging infrastructure, Aerospace and Ship energy conversion systems, Railway Traction applications, battery management systems, EV drive trains and electric motor drives. Track-6: Instrumentation and Signal Processing Optimization techniques, big data analytics, cloud computing, embedded systems, image processing, and various measurement systems. Track-7: Renewable and Sustainable Energy Conversion Systems Various renewable sources (solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen), distributed generation, grid integration, and energy harvesting. Renewable and alternative energy power electronics systems, Distributed Power Generation, Grid interaction of sustainable energy sources, Hydrogen technology, Fuel cells, Protection of renewable generation, Battery Management Systems. Track-8: Energy Storage and Battery Technologies Integration and management of energy storage systems in various applications, role of BSS in modern power systems, typical batteries in integrating intermittent renewable energy sources. Track-9: Energy Policies Policies for Distributed Generation, Smart Grids and operation with increased renewable penetration. Track-10: Sustainable Solutions for Carbon Emissions Efforts to reduce carbon emissions and sustainable solutions. Track-11: Communication Technologies Communication and networking as applied to power and energy systems. Track-12: Electrical Machines and Industrial Drives Modeling, Analysis and Design of rotating and linear electromagnetic devices, Operation and Control of Industrial motor drives.
