論文募集

IEEE Railway RoSe 2018 (International Workshop on Robots and Sensors Networks for Railway Systems) is an academic conference held in Bologna, Italy on 2018-09-09. The paper submission deadline is 2018-05-28 (extended). Acceptance notifications are sent on 2018-06-15.

IEEE Railway RoSe 2018 The 1st International Workshop on Robots and Sensors Networks for Railway Systems Organized in conjunction with IEEE PIMRC 2018 http://railwayrose2018.nws.cs.unibo.it/ September 9, 2018 Bologna, Italy EDAS Submission Link: http://edas.info/N24923 - Improved versions of selected papers from the workshop will be invited for possible publication in a special issue of Wiley’s Internet Technology Letters. - Best Paper Award (BPA). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***** PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE (EXTENDED): May 28, 2018 ***** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wireless Sensors and Actuators Networks constitute one of the staples of Railroad’s Infrastructure and Rolling Stock management. With the distances, environments and costs involved in the domain, a remote and reliable surveying is the ever-present objective of all the actors in the industry. The autonomous cooperative systems, made of highly mobile self-organizing robots, may survey tracks and stations, increase operators’ security in maintenance interventions and scout for sudden obstacles in long and isolated tracks. Such applications foresee technological advancements that consider the fields of both Ad-Hoc Networks and Wireless Sensors and Actuators Networks. As the objectives are different from purely civilian or end-user applications, the beneficial possibilities are endless. At the same time, the challenges are as high as the stakes. Whether the innovation comes from 5G COTS or from breakthrough independent solutions, for railway operations, the networking part of the system has to show higher levels of reliability, compared to the end-user domain, as well as increased capabilities. Railway RoSe aims at bringing together state-of-the-art contributions on the design, specification and implementation of architectures, algorithms and protocols for current and future applications of such systems, having special consideration for nature-inspired, machine-learning based techniques and data-driven approaches for network architecture, protocol design and system optimization. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: - Wireless Sensors and Robots Networks for Railway Systems - Wireless Autonomous Systems for Rail Networks - Networked Cyber-physical Systems for Railway Applications - Innovative Sensor-Network applications for Railway Industry - Nature-inspired protocol design for WSRN in Railways - Sensor and Robot Networks for Train Safety and Security - Sensor-network-based Train Health Monitoring Systems (HMS) - Unmanned Aerial/Ground Vehicles networks for Railway Systems - Railway Infrastructure Monitoring using Wireless Sensor and Robot Networks - Railway Networks Mapping using Multi-sensor fusion - Machine-learning Railway Applications for Network Control and Management - The Internet of Things (IoT) for Railway Systems. - Train-to-Infrastructure and Train-to-Train Wireless Communications - Robust Localization using Wireless Sensors for Railway Systems - Energy-Efficient Wireless Protocols for Railway Monitoring Applications - Innovative analysis of sensor data for Railway Systems - 5G and beyond-5G Networks for Railways -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prospective authors are invited to submit technical papers of their previously unpublished work. Accepted workshop papers will be part of the Conference Proceedings and will be uploaded to IEEE Xplore. All submissions must be made electronically via EDAS using this link: http://edas.info/N24923. Papers should follow the same Author guidelines of the general symposium, which are available at http://pimrc2018.ieee-pimrc.org/authors/submission-guidelines/. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EXTENDED VERSION PUBLICATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Improved versions of selected papers from the workshop will be invited for possible publication in a special issue of Wiley’s Internet Technology Letters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IMPORTANT DATES ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Manuscript submission deadline (extended): May 28, 2018 - Manuscript acceptance notification: June 15, 2018 - Camera-ready paper submission: June 29, 2018 - Conference dates: September 9, 2018 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ORGANIZING COMMITTEE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ General Chairs - Angelo Trotta, University of Bologna, Italy - Nicola Roberto Zema, IFSTTAR Lille, France Web and Publicity Chairs - Luca Sciullo, University of Bologna, Italy Technical Program Committee (to be completed) - Oscar Alvear, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain - Aitor Arriola, IK4-IKERLAN, Spain - Luca Bedogni, University of Bologna, Italy - Mauro Belgiovine, Northeastern University, USA - Marcos Caetano, University of Brasilia, Brazil - Claudia Campolo, University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria, Italy - Federico Ceccarelli, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy - Zheng Chang, University of Jyväskylä, Finland - Fabio D'Andreagiovanni, CNRS, Sorbonne University - UTC, France - Marco Di Felice, University of Bologna, Italy - Milan Erdelj, Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France - Michal Krol, University College London, France - Vincenzo Lomonaco, University of Bologna, Italy - Liangde Ma, CHINA ACADEMY OF RAILWAY SCIENCES, P.R.
