AIME 2017 (Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) is a ICORE B conference held in Vienna, Austria on 2017-06-21. The paper submission deadline is 2017-01-22. Acceptance notifications are sent on 2017-03-13.

The AIME17 conference, June 21-23, 2017 invites all interested researchers to submit original contributions regarding the development of theory, methods, systems, and applications of AI in BioMedicine, including the application of AI approaches in biomedical informatics, healthcare organization and molecular medicine. The first call for presentations will be issued mid of July, 2016 Scope: Contributions to theory and methods should present or analyze novel AI theories or methodologies for solving problems in the biomedical field. It is equally possible to present new theories and methods or extensions of existing ones. In both cases, the work should demonstrate its utility for solving biomedical problems and highlight its contribution to the underlying theoretical basis. In addition, assumptions and limitations should be discussed, and novelty with respect to the state of the art. Contributions addressing systems and applications should describe the development, implementation or evaluation of innovative, AI-based tools and systems in the biomedical application domain. These papers should both link the work to underlying theory, and either analyse the potential benefits to solve biomedical problems or present empirical evidence of benefits in clinical practice. The scope of the conference includes the following areas: * Big Data Analytics * Biomedical Knowledge Acquisition and Knowledge Management * Clinical Decision Support Systems * AI methods in Telemedicine and eHealth * Behavior Medicine * Patient Engagement Support (Personal Health Record) * Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining * Case-based Reasoning in Biomedicine * Biomedical Ontologies and Terminologies * Document Classification and Information Retrieval * Bayesian Networks and Reasoning Under Uncertainty * Biomedical Imaging and Signal Processing * Temporal and Spatial Representation and Reasoning * Visual Analytics in Biomedicine * Computerized Clinical Practice Guidelines and Protocols * Natural Language Processing * Fuzzy Logic * Healthcare Process and Workflow Management * AI solutions for Ambient Assisted Living
