We are thrilled to announce that WUWNet 2026 will be held in Hong Kong, China from December 2 to 5, 2026! As an international financial and technological metropolis with distinctive strengths in marine technology research and cross-border academic exchanges, Hong Kong integrates world-class scientific and educational resources with a vibrant innovation ecosystem. This provides an unparalleled industry-academia-research platform for the conference. WUWNet’26 aims to gather prominent scientists, engineers, and industry pioneers from around the globe to share and promote frontier research breakthroughs. We warmly welcome academics and industrial professionals across diverse domains including underwater sensing, communications, networking, robotics, systems, and applications to participate in this premier event. Specific topics include, but are not limited to: Networked underwater robotics and systems, such as localization, navigation, security, communication,coordination, and human operator interaction Coordinated energy-harvesting and power-management methods for underwater networks and systems Experimental results from underwater networking, signal/image processing, and communications field trials, especially in extreme environments Application requirements for underwater networks, signal/image processing, and communication systems presented by end-users Applications that address underwater networks and systems, including coordinated underwater vehicles Interaction and integration of underwater networked systems with terrestrial and aerial networking Cooperative underwater communications, including PHY, MAC, routing, and data transfer Modeling, simulation, testbeds, and standardization for underwater systems and platforms Operating system and middleware support for underwater networks and systems Underwater communications, including acoustic, optical, MI, RF, and wired AI-driven underwater acoustic communications and networks Ocean observing platforms, systems, and instrumentation Underwater channel modeling and signal processing Community data infrastructure and public datasets Underwater sonar signal and image processing Underwater network and system architectures Underwater/surface vehicles and robots Underwater remote sensing Underwater vehicles
