Scope The rapid evolution of wearable technologies, intelligent sensing, and pervasive connectivity is transforming digital health, personalized medicine, and human-centered computing. Modern Body Area Networks (BANs) integrate multimodal sensors, embedded intelligence, and secure communication infrastructures to support continuous monitoring, early diagnosis, rehabilitation, and autonomous living. These systems increasingly rely on AI-driven analytics, edge–cloud continuum architectures, and privacy-preserving data management to deliver reliable and context-aware services. EAI BodyNets 2026 invites high-quality contributions addressing the design, implementation, and evaluation of next-generation body-centric systems. The conference welcomes research on wearable and implantable devices, in-, on-, and off-body communications, digital twins, machine learning for physiological and behavioral inference, and the regulatory and socio-technical challenges of pervasive health technologies. The event provides a multidisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners from computer science, engineering, healthcare, and related fields to exchange ideas and advance the state of the art in intelligent body-centric networks and services. Topics We seek novel, innovative, and impactful contributions in areas including but not limited to: Wearable, implantable, and soft sensing technologies Embedded medical devices, actuators, and wearable cyber‑physical systems Energy-efficient, sustainable, and batteryless wearable systems In-, on-, and off-body communications and networking 5G/6G connectivity, antennas, propagation, and channel modeling for BANs Interference management, coexistence, and spectrum sharing Molecular and nano-scale communications for biomedical applications Edge–cloud continuum architectures and distributed intelligence for BANs Security, privacy, trust, and privacy-preserving communication protocols AI, ML, and deep learning for physiological and behavioral analytics Federated learning, secure data sharing, and privacy-preserving AI Bio-signal processing (EEG, EMG, ECG, PPG, EDA, etc.) Digital twins for personalized health, rehabilitation, and prediction Context-aware and situation-aware wearable computing Medical data management, governance, and regulatory compliance Smart BAN applications for healthcare, AAL, and preventive medicine Remote monitoring, tele-rehabilitation, and digital therapeutics XR (AR/VR/MR) for medical training, therapy, and well-being Sports analytics, performance optimization, and wellness applications Socio-economic, ethical, and human-centered aspects of pervasive health
