ICMU 2018 (International Conference on Mobile Computing and Ubiquitous Networking) is an academic conference held in Auckland, New Zealand on 2018-10-05. The paper submission deadline is 2018-05-25 (extended). Acceptance notifications are sent on 2018-07-06.

ICMU2018 -- The Eleventh International Conference on Mobile Computing and Ubiquitous Networking -- focuses on the active area of research and development in mobile communications, applications, algorithms, and systems as well as ubiquitous services and computing. The special focus of ICMU includes advancing technologies for next-generation distributed and ubiquitous computing where human, networked sensors, connected devices, and environment are involved. Examples of such technologies are IoT, human-centric sensing, energy-efficient mobile systems, social-networking, machine-to-machine communications, mobile cloud computing and mobile social P2P. Not only these issues but also fundamental algorithms and theory for mobile system privacy, security, reliability, and robustness are also the topics of interest. Authors are invited to submit their research contributions addressing the topics in mobile and pervasive computing and ubiquitous networking. The topics include, but are not limited to: Wireless Access Technologies Networked Sensing, and Applications Mobile Device Architectures Mobile Systems and Applications Mobile Data Management and Analytics Mobile Multimedia Mobile User Interfaces and Interaction Technologies Mobile User Experience Toolkit, and Languages for Mobile Computing Energy Aware Mobile Computing Mobile Cloud Computing Semantic Web Technologies Localization and Tracking Internet of Things Crowdsourcing Participatory Sensing Social Network Applications to Mobile Computing Wearable Computing Context and Location Aware Applications and Services Body Area Networks Trust, Security and Privacy Edge Computing Submission Guidelines Submitted manuscripts must be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and must be submitted through EDAS as PDF files (formatted for 8.5x11-inch or A4-size paper). The manuscripts should be no longer than 6 pages. Publication With Technical Sponsorship of IEEE CS, all accepted papers will be included in IEEE Digital Library. Selected Papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to a special issue of Computational Intelligence Journal.
