## Call for papers

Aims and scope Applied Mathematics in Science and Engineering (AMSE) is an international research journal publishing high-quality work on mathematical methods and their applications across fields such as biology, medicine, finance, economics, computer science, physics, and engineering. AMSE advances application-oriented mathematics, emphasizing balance laws, data-driven modeling, simulation, and optimization. It also integrates emerging methods, including neuronal networks approximation and human behavior in complex systems, to uncover hidden principles, improve predictions, and support informed decision-making. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following fields: Ordinary and partial differential equations (including integral, impulsive, delay, functional equations) Free and moving boundary problems Dynamical systems Stochastic modeling, interacting-particle systems, statistical mechanics (including particle-based numerical methods) Multiscale modeling and simulation (including asymptotic analysis, homogenization), Control and optimization Inverse problems Scientific computing and numerical analysis Approximation theory (including numerical functional analysis, spline approximation, neuronal networks) Computational mathematics (including high-performance computing) Statistics and data science Complex systems Submitted manuscripts must be well-written, technically sound, and present new, original, and nontrivial results. Proposals for review papers are welcome and should first be discussed with the Editor-in-Chief.
