## Call for papers

The HONET conference has consistently fulfilled its core mission while also excelling in attracting high‑quality research papers from around the world. Over the years, the conference has firmly established itself as a leading international forum for research addressing both regional and global challenges in science and technology. The 23rd IEEE HONET 2026 will continue this tradition, emphasizing Research and Development as well as the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to advance the realization of Smart Cities. This year’s conference will particularly explore the expanding role of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, quantum computing, blockchain technologies, and intelligent energy and transportation systems—all framed within the broader context of ICT through its technical sessions.
